"Ex-Day," FCS’s
extended-day program, is a supervised period for students to run around outside, play games, do arts and crafts, and generally be kids. There are opportunities for students to work on homework with adult support.
Each semester, FCS offers a diverse array of
after-school enrichment classes for students in grades K through 8 in subjects ranging from yoga to role-playing games.
Due to COVID restrictions, enrichment classes have been limited in the 2021-22 school year.
FCS offers a robust after-school instrumental music program for students in grades 4 through 8. FCS musicians consistently win the highest markings in county-run solo and ensemble festivals, and many graduates receive spots and scholarships in high school band programs. Due to COVID restrictions, the instrumental music program is only offered to students with prior instrumental experience in the 2021-22 school year.
