At Friends Community School, our culture of generosity invites every member of our community to participate in meaningful ways to steward the future of our school and nurture the growth of every student.
Every contribution, whether through monetary donations or volunteering efforts, helps guide our students as they grow into thoughtful, compassionate individuals.

Tuition alone does not cover the full breadth of programs, resources, and opportunities that make an FCS education exceptional.

At Friends Community School, philanthropy plays a vital role in sustaining and strengthening our mission. Throughout the year, we invite our community to support FCS in meaningful ways—through Annual Giving, gifts to the Blackburn Scholarship Fund for financial aid, participation in our biannual giving campaigns, and other special initiatives that help our school and students thrive.

  • What Is A Typical Gift Amount?

    While there is no one-size gift amount, we encourage every family to make a donation that feels meaningful to them. Every contribution, at any level, supports our mission and helps FCS thrive.

    For those with the capacity to give more, leadership gifts can create extraordinary opportunities for our students and teachers. Participation at all levels strengthens our shared commitment to the school.

    Giving Levels
    The Beacon Circle – $10,000+
    Honors those whose extraordinary generosity sustains and strengthens the heart of FCS.

    The Guiding Light Circle – $7,500 to $9,999
    Recognizes leadership gifts that inspire others and illuminate the path forward.

    The Steward’s Circle – $5,000 to $7,499
    Celebrates donors who make a lasting impact through their deep commitment to FCS’s mission.

    The Community Circle – $2,500 to $4,999
    Acknowledges gifts that help nurture our vibrant community of learners and leaders.

    The SPICES Circle – $1,000 to $2,499
    Named for our Quaker values, honoring donors whose generosity reflects simplicity, peace, integrity, community, equality, and stewardship.

    The Friends Circle – up to $999
    Celebrates all gifts; each one a vital expression of care and commitment that sustains FCS.

  • What Is My Gift Supporting?

    Philanthropy at Friends Community School is an invitation to help sustain and strengthen our community. Families are encouraged to consider making a financial gift that is meaningful to them, and are also invited to support the school by volunteering or attending events.
