Extended Day & Enrichment

Beyond the School Day

After the school day is over, FCS offers a range of childcare and activities for families under the care of Auxiliary Programs. Registration for these programs is done on Ultracamp, our Auxiliary Programs platform, which also manages Summer Camp programs.

Extended Day

FCS’s Extended Day (Ex-Day), is our general childcare program. Ex-Day is a supervised period for students to make cross-grade connections, experience the outdoors, play games, do arts and crafts, and generally be children. There are also opportunities for older students to work on homework with adult support. Families register for this program on a monthly basis.

After-School Enrichment

FCS offers a diverse array of After-School Enrichment Activities for students in grades K-8 in subjects ranging from Ultimate Frisbee to role-playing games to campfire cooking to coding to 3-D printing to intramural sports. These activities operate on a weekly basis per semester and are taught by FCS teachers and community members.
FCS offers an After-School Instrumental Music Program for students in grades K-8. These programs are structured for students to continue their music education through different instruments: Brass, Drums, Guitar, Piano, Ukulele, Voice, and Woodwinds.
