From Now Through 2021

Friends Community School published a new Strategic Plan today, outlining goals for the next three years.
The interim plan supports FCS as it moves from the 11-year tenure of retiring Head of School Larry Clements to a new administration, soon to be announced and starting July 1.
“Our past strategic plans gave us vision and purpose to put us in the remarkable position we are in today,” says Janet Dixon, Clerk of the FCS Board of Trustees, reflecting on the school’s expanded facilities, full enrollment, and diverse and committed faculty. “We took goals to heart, and we have grown and expanded in every way possible.”
The culmination of two years of self-study and reflection, this Strategic Plan reflects the thinking of the Board, each Board Committee, and other contributors. It outlines six goals related to academics, Quakerism, diversity, facilities, advancement, and finance. Committees are now developing work plans to accomplish these goals in the coming years.
