Janet joined FCS as Lower School Spanish Teacher in the 2019-20 school year, bringing over 15 years of experience teaching Spanish to elementary-age children in her native Peru as well as the U.S. Most recently, Janet taught Spanish at another progressive school, Green Acres School in Bethesda. Janet likes to find ways to incorporate the visual and performing arts into her teaching. In her spare time, she enjoys watching family movies, cooking, and walking her two Beagles, Lucas and Buster.
