Keely Kozak

1st/2nd Grade Teacher

"Students have a natural curiosity and desire to learn, and it is my job to ignite their curiosity."
After five years of teaching Kindergarten in public charter schools in Washington, D.C., Keely joined FCS as a 1/2 teacher in the 2016-17 school year. Keely is experienced using Readers’ and Writers’ Workshop, Responsive Classroom, and Singapore Mathematics. Before teaching, Keely worked in fundraising and marketing for nonprofits that serve children and youth. In her spare time, she loves to cook, bake, paint, and play tennis.
