Wendy Yearwood joined the FCS community in September 2023 as the Advancement Associate. Wendy
is originally from Georgia and moved to the DMV area last year. Wendy received her master’s degree
from the University of Denver in Professional Studies with a concentration in Alternative Dispute
Resolution. She also holds a BS degree from Rochester College in Mass Communications. Wendy has a
diverse background and experience in different professional roles such as Office Manager, Restorative
Justice Facilitator, Employment Specialist, and HR Analyst. She brings a wealth of varying knowledge to
the FCS Advancement Department. Wendy resides in Bowie, MD. She enjoys cooking, traveling with her
husband and pup Marlee, spending time with family and friends, exploring new restaurants, and
attending concerts.
