The FCS Parent Association welcomes Dr. Bonnie Zucker as she speaks on Navigating the Complex and Emotional World of Social Power: Helping your child be assertive & gain confidence. Her presentation will focus on understanding social power in childhood relationships. Parents will gain an understanding of these dynamics and how to help their children on this often emotional and complex topic. Dr. Zucker is a licensed psychologist with an expertise in treatment of anxiety disorders and is also the author of Anxiety-Free Kids, Take Control of OCD, Parenting Kids with OCD and Something Very Sad Happened. She also coauthored Resilience Builder Program for Children and Adolescents. Dinner will begin at 6:30 PM and the business meeting and speaker presentation will begin at 7:00 PM.
