Fundraising at FCS helps keep tuition lower than it would otherwise be and within reach of as many families as possible. Our fundraising events also bring our families and larger community together. If you have an idea for a fundraising event or project, please contact Christine Dunathan, Director of Advancement, at firstname.lastname@example.org.

The Spring Auction Gala 2018 was a great success, generating $55,000 for FCS financial aid on a beautiful spring evening last April at the Riggs Alumni Center on the UMD campus.
The Spring Gala Auction gave parents, alumni, and friends of the school a chance to socialize together while raising funds for a worthy cause--the Blackburn Financial Aid Fund. An adults-only evening, the Auction featured silent and live auction items, dinner, and live music and entertainment. On-site childcare featured “Pajama Movie Night."

Fall Fair is a beautiful event and always a great success!
Thanks to everyone who contributes their time and talents to this fun community event: the student-run booths featuring traditional games, a groaning board at the Friends Cafe; the facepainting and mehendi; the toy and book sale; beautiful pumpkins, apples, and more at the seasonal items booth; the mini train on the field; the moon-bounce; FCS T-shirts and mugs; the Diversity Committee booth with handcrafts; the pumpkin drop raffle; the band The Grandsons who play great music for hours; and jewelry and art vendors from our community. All organized by parent volunteers of the Parent Association (PA). Funds raised are directed by the PA to support different areas of the school. Thank you FCS Parent Association!
